Job Description
The Lead Technical Analyst is responsible for leading the support of software‑as‑a‑service (SaaS) and enterprise‑wide applications required for the collection, retrieval, accessibility, and usage of data for internal department planning and activities within the Source to Pay workstream. The role includes managing configuration, setup, and updates of applications, ensuring high data accuracy, developing custom queries and building reports, providing strategic advice on application development and maintenance, and mentoring a team that trains users and sets up access.
Responsibilities- Lead the support for SaaS and enterprise‑wide applications, guiding design considerations and business impacts within the Source to Pay workstream.
- Drive quality of data for internal planning and activities.
- Lead configuration, setup, and updates of applications and provide guidance as needed.
- Manage data loading into established tables, fields, and system databases.
- Review and approve governance standards and processes for data input, structures, and storage mechanisms.
- Lead the team in building reports and provide strategic insights and recommendations related to business management and staff decisions.
- Lead and mentor the team responsible for training users on the applications and setting up user access.
- Provide strategic recommendations for changes in applications development, maintenance, and system standards.
- Establish and share an enterprise‑wide applications perspective when collaborating with cross‑functional technical teams within the organization to ensure integration and interoperability of enterprise‑wide systems.
- Lead and liaise with client stakeholders and external vendors to ensure support for enterprise‑wide applications.
- Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology; or at least 9 years of experience in enterprise‑wide software support. - Preferred:
Certifications in ITIL, Microsoft, and/or Oracle.
- 6‑8 years of experience in enterprise‑wide software support with in‑depth knowledge of software development methodologies.
- Extensive knowledge of enterprise‑wide applications and software platforms.
- Experience managing SaaS and enterprise‑wide systems.
- Expertise in configuring and setting up enterprise‑wide applications.
- Experience applying security designs and principles to technology‑based business solutions.
- Ability to develop and review complex custom queries using query and reporting tools.
- Extensive knowledge of data management best practices and quality control processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams and external vendors.
- Extensive experience configuring and using Oracle Fusion Cloud within the Sourcing and Purchasing space.
- Understanding of the underlying assumptions within a procurement workflow and how they are implemented within Oracle Fusion Cloud.
- Experience connecting Oracle Fusion to other cloud or on‑premises systems.
- Extensive knowledge of building and executing end‑to‑end test cases during development cycles in an Agile team.
