EY is seeking an experienced Manager of Data Engineering to lead our team in designing and implementing complex cloud analytics solutions with a focus on Databricks. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in data architecture, cloud technologies, and analytics, along with exceptional leadership and client management skills.

• Understand and analyze business requirements to translate them into technical requirements.
• Design, build, and operate scalable data architecture and modeling solutions.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Lead workstream delivery and ensure quality in all processes.
• Engage with clients daily, participate in working sessions, and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Implement resource plans, budgets, and manage engagement economics.
• Travel may be required based on client needs.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field required;
  Master’s preferred.
• 4‑6 years of relevant experience in data engineering, focusing on cloud data solutions and analytics.
• Proven expertise in Databricks and Spark for big data processing.
• Strong background in data architecture and designing complex cloud analytics solutions.
• Experience leading and managing teams, mentoring talent.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or SQL.
• Excellent communication and client‑management skills.
• Proficient in engaging stakeholders and presenting solutions.

• Advanced data analytics and machine learning concepts.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.
• Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security best practices.
• Ability to drive end‑to‑end data pipeline development.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Base salary range for this role in the U.S. $125,500 – $230,200. Salary determined by education, experience, skills, and geography. Benefits include medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, paid time off, and flexible vacation policy.
