- Serve as a cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Information System Security Manager (ISSM), providing assistance to the Primary ISSM and guidance to Program/System Managers.
- As an ISSM, assess the Risk Management Framework (RMF) security controls once implemented, requiring familiarity with NIST 800-53 rev. 5.
- Support cybersecurity project plan development and management, policy and process development, technology assessments, and guidance interpretation.
- Work with DLA cybersecurity elements to recommend revisions and updates to policy, plans, and assessments.
- Perform cybersecurity analysis to ensure RMF controls are applied for confidentiality, integrity, authentication, and non‑repudiation.
- Monitor implementation of guidance and direct action to resolve discrepancies or deficiencies.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.

Specialized Experience – One year of experience directly related to this position. For GS‑12 level, requisite experience equivalent to GS‑11.
- Apply regulations governing the Cyber Assurance Program to investigate, isolate, and resolve security issues.
- Apply federal security requirements (Clinger‑Cohen Act, FISMA, RMF, NIST 800 series, OMB A‑130) to conduct risk assessments.
- Experience with RMF tools such as eMASS, Xacta, CSET, or similar.
