Position

Description:

The onsite SAP MM/PP Lead Consultant will be responsible for onsite coordination for support activities to the existing SAP ECC landscape and ensure that the enhancements/project(s) are delivered on‑time, on‑budget, and to the satisfaction of business users. The onsite SAP Lead Consultant is responsible for leading the design and implementation of the existing SAP solution‑delivery and enhancement/project deliverables including functional and technical specifications, system configuration, testing, training and support.

The SAP Lead consultant must be a subject matter expert on SAP MM, PP & QM processes.

Duration: 2.5 years

Position Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensure day‑to‑day support and meet SLA
• Provide guidance on best practices on logistic functions
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into a solution
• Understand the breadth and depth of the deliverable and how it fits into the larger picture
• Responsible for the functional aspects of the analysis and design process and its associated documentation
• Guide and troubleshoot during support and enhancement delivery
• Define and complete required tasks with little or no assistance or oversight
• Act as a lead resource for others on the team
• Lead the offshore team and work with the offshore Project Manager
• Set and follow standards
• Facilitate involvement of other groups or individuals needed to solve a problem
• Conduct presentations to all audiences
• Communicate with team members and clients in a clear, consistent, and professional manner
• Initiate communication and follow‑up promptly and consistently
• Keep customer stakeholders updated on progress and status of assigned work
• Allocate time, prioritize tasks, and accurately scope tasks
• Suggest improvement ideas for process optimization and increasing efficiency

Position Requirements:

• 15+ years of SAP experience with implementation, roll‑out and support projects
• Plan, monitor and track progress of responsibilities
• Adhere to support SLA
• On‑site – offshore coordination
• Build a good rapport with the customer
• Provide consulting help to the customer on SAP
