Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented individual to join our team as an Applications Analyst. The Applications Analyst is responsible for ensuring on‑time configuration, testing, documentation, implementation, maintenance and end‑user satisfaction associated with New Avenues’ core software systems. Key activities include defining functional specifications and configuring software applications; creating and maintaining reports and dashboards; staff and client training; end‑user support;
and application administration. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting and problem resolution for current and future functionality of both client and staff software, and determining client technology needs, requirements, and available solutions.
- Act as the main contact and oversight role for all core systems, including client technology.
- Maintain software security levels by staff role.
- Assist users with reporting as needed.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical and business rule issues, and work with core vendor support to resolve.
- Provide overall recommendations on efficiency and productivity gains for all NATI software; assist business units in analyzing and refining processes to leverage software capabilities.
- Provide analysis and problem resolution to enable education, implementation, and documentation of a variety of software.
- Coordinate software updates with core vendors and internal staff; coordinate testing as needed.
- Assist users with current business rules and implement new rules in software as needed; communicate changes to staff.
- Provide remote and on‑site support for staff and clients, visiting sites to ensure comfort with systems and processes.
- Provide guidance and training on software.
- Establish standards and best practices for assistive technology, administration, documentation, and vendors.
- Promptly report to supervisor any circumstances that negatively impact information security or data integrity within systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in application analysis, implementation, and support, preferably in a non‑profit or healthcare environment.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Proficiency in software development methodologies, programming languages, and database management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Current State of Ohio driver’s license with 4 points or less on the driver’s record, and required insurance coverage; maintain auto liability insurance with at least state minimum coverage level.
