Systems Analyst, Technical Support
We are searching for a Lead Programmer Analyst to join a Healthcare Payment business in Ohio. As a Lead Programmer Analyst, you will apply standard programming procedures and apply expertise in relevant functional areas.

Responsibilities- Program Development and Maintenance:
Develops, modifies, and maintains programs, diagnosing and correcting errors. - System Analysis and Planning:
Analyzes and plans systems with management, documenting plans and schedules. - System Design and Documentation:
Designs systems based on analysis and consultations, and documents them to meet standards. - Implementation and Support:
Assists with system installation, training, and troubleshooting. - Problem Analysis and Resolution:
Conducts fact-finding and program analysis to resolve issues. - Technical Support:
Provides technical advice, creates ad-hoc reports, and offers training and problem-solving support. - Team Guidance:
May oversee or guide other technical staff. - Project Recommendations:
Analyzes and recommends major projects and system enhancements. - User Requirements Analysis:
Defines user requirements and translates them into functional system requirements. - Technical Training:
Provides or assists with technical training for deployed applications. - Procedure and Documentation Creation:
Participates in creating system procedures, guidelines, and technical documentation. - Best Practices Advocacy:
Promotes best practices for the software development life cycle within the team.
- Education:
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. - Experience:
At least 3-4 years in IT, focusing on application development. - Technical
Skills:- Strong knowledge of SQL Server (2016 or higher, SQL 2022 preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Development technologies, including C# .NET and Blazor (experience converting from Angular to Blazor is a plus).
- Experience with job scheduling tools like Active Batch.
- Expertise in standard QA/testing tools and test-driven development.
- Experience with health insurance companies, TPAs, or claim processors.
- Understanding of claims transactions and Healthcare EDI standards (e.g., 835s).
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and issue resolution abilities.
- Ability to work independently and rapidly assimilate new technologies.
- Effective communication with various teams.
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit, walk and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms and lift up to 25 pounds.
