Advanced Behavioral Therapy (ABT) is a BCBA-owned, rapidly growing organization seeking an experienced HR & Recruiting Director to lead our people strategy in 2026 and beyond.
This role partners closely with leadership, clinical teams, and operations to attract, hire, and retain high-quality, mission-aligned professionals. You’ll drive recruitment excellence, strengthen employee engagement, and build scalable, people-centered HR systems that support growth and exceptional care.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on HR leader with strong communication skills and a passion for building teams that make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities- Lead HR administration and compliance across a multi-state organization, ensuring adherence to employment laws and data-privacy standards.
- Design and oversee compensation, benefits, and leave programs in partnership with executive leadership.
- Develop and execute a strategic talent acquisition strategy, overseeing high-volume and leadership hiring while strengthening employer branding.
- Manage and mentor HR and recruiting teams, driving accountability, performance, and professional growth.
- Oversee onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, and retention initiatives across all locations.
- Direct organizational training and development programs, aligning workforce capabilities with long-term growth.
- Own HR and recruiting metrics, delivering actionable insights and workforce planning recommendations to leadership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Clinical leadership, and Marketing to support organizational priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in a senior or director-level role overseeing multi-state compliance and employee relations.
- 3+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HRIS/ATS platforms, and HR analytics.
- Proven ability to lead teams, influence executives, and scale HR systems in a growing organization.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Master’s degree, SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification.
- Experience in healthcare, ABA, or other regulated, multi-site environments.
- Demonstrated success improving retention, engagement, and HR operational efficiency.
Experience leading HR technology or organizational change initiatives.
