What you’ll do

As an Employee Relations (ER) Specialist in the Human Resources Department, you’ll help shape operations, support our dedicated field teams, and deliver critical services that make a visible impact every day.

Your daily impact
  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR cases and provide timely, consistent responses.
  • Conduct investigations, document findings, and provide recommendations.
  • Provide clear guidance on company policies and employee relations best practices.
  • Coordinate, track, and follow up on required compliance training programs.
  • Partner with HR, Legal, and Compliance teams to update and maintain training materials.
  • Manage personnel file requests, subpoena responses, and other legal documentation requests.
  • Maintain organized, compliant records in accordance with HR data retention requirements.
  • Lead the quarterly employee relations review process.
  • Identify patterns in case types and inform proactive interventions.
  • Recommend enhancements to policies, procedures, and workflows.
  • Work closely with HR, Legal, Compliance, and Operations partners to ensure alignment on ER issues.
  • Support communications related to policy updates, compliance reminders, and ER programs.
  • Apply sound judgment and employment law knowledge to reduce organizational risk.
Minimum job requirements
  • Experience:

    2 years of employee relations experience
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in related field

  • Apply employee relations & accommodation principles to ensure fair, consistent, and compliant issue resolution.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and produce clear, accurate findings and recommendations.
  • Communicate with clarity, build trust, and guide managers through sensitive or complex matters.
  • Identify trends, assess risks, and provide actionable insights that inform proactive interventions.
  • Evaluate situations objectively and make sound, well‑reasoned decisions in high‑risk or ambiguous scenarios.

Physical requirements & travel
  • Lifting:
    Up to 15 lbs.
  • Sitting/Standing:
    Primarily desk‑based with occasional standing or walking
  • Dexterity:
    Ability to use computers, phones, and standard office equipment
  • Visual & Auditory:
    Normal or corrected vision and hearing sufficient for office work
  • Travel:
    Occasional local travel may be required for meetings or site visits
  • Attendance:
    Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function for this position.
