Summary ofEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Recruiting Specialist supports firmwide recruiting efforts assisting with tracking law school and lateral candidates, providing administrative and logistical support to the firmwide recruiting team as well as recruiting contacts and partners in the US and non-US offices. The Recruiting Specialist also provides support for various firmwide recruiting events as well as participating in department initiatives.
The Recruiting Specialist interacts daily with the firmwide team, partners and associates, and external search agencies. The Specialist must possess excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities as well as collaborating with the recruiting team and other operational teams. The Specialist must be invested in providing a first-rate recruiting experience for all parties involved in the recruiting process.
Required Qualifications:
- One (1) to two (2) years of recruiting experience; law firm or other professional services recruiting strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships within and outside of the Firm.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience using web-based databases, and data reporting and virtual platforms.
Jones Day offers competitive salaries and benefits to all employees. Compensation is determined upon the market in which the position is located, the responsibilities of the position, the experience and skills of the applicant, and other job-related factors. The starting salary range for this Cleveland position is $70,000 – $80,000.
