The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Payroll Specialist to join our Payroll team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll operations while partnering closely with HR and Finance. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys ownership, problem-solving, and contributing to process improvement within a large, well-established organization.

What You’ll Do
  • Process payroll accurately and on schedule, including wages, taxes, and employee benefit deductions
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations
  • Partner with HR and Finance to streamline payroll processes and enhance efficiency
  • Prepare payroll-related financial reports and support internal and external audits
  • Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner
  • Monitor changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Provide guidance and support to junior payroll team members as needed
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and applicable laws and regulations
  • Experience with payroll systems (UKG or similar platforms preferred)
  • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
