Base pay range$95,000.00/yr - $/yr
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior HR Manager to lead the Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving HR strategy, enhancing employee engagement, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting operational efficiency through workforce planning and talent management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership:
Partner with plant leadership to align HR strategies with business goals, driving organizational performance and culture. - Talent Acquisition & Retention:
Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes for skilled labor and management roles. Develop retention strategies to reduce turnover. - Employee Relations:
Act as a key contact for resolving employee issues and grievances. Promote a positive, productive work environment. - Labor Law Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws. Manage audits and reporting requirements. - Training & Development:
Design and implement training programs to upskill the workforce and support career progression. - Performance Management:
Oversee performance appraisal cycles, goal setting, and feedback mechanisms. Coach managers on performance improvement plans. - HR Policy & Process Management:
Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook in line with company values and legal standards. - Compensation & Benefits:
Collaborate with finance and corporate HR to manage compensation structures, job evaluations, and benefit programs. - HR Data & Analytics:
Monitor and report key HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, productivity) to inform business decisions. - Health, Safety & Compliance:
Work with EHS teams to promote workplace safety and employee well-being.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, OSHA regulations, and union/labor relations (if applicable).
- Proven leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
