Towne Park is a hospitality services company focused on delivering exceptional experiences for guests. This role involves providing valet services, assisting guests with luggage where applicable, and maintaining a friendly and efficient service standard.
Responsibilities- Provide valet services for hotel guests, including parking and retrieving vehicles in a prompt and safe manner.
- Assist guests with luggage, including delivery and pick up where applicable during arrival and departure.
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests and provide bell services support as needed.
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests; issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks before issuing keys.
- Maintain accurate ticket information (key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, claim check receipt) within the valet system and update key tags as needed.
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and inquiries; provide information about facility amenities and local attractions.
- Shuttle guests to approved locations as required by the location.
- Support guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and other amenities as appropriate.
- Ensure proper handling of revenue when needed and maintain a professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients.
- Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). - Licensure/
Certifications:
A valid driver’s license and clean driving record; must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a criminal background and drug screen. - Work Experience:
One (1) month related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Knowledge:
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. - Skills:
Ability to read and write standard English; ability to communicate effectively one-on-one and in small groups; basic math and time-keeping; ability to understand time-based rates; ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable; ability to perform parallel parking.
- The majority of work is outdoors for extended periods; may be exposed to extreme heat and cold. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable performance of essential functions.
- Physical requirements include talking or hearing, frequent standing or walking, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Travel up to 5% may be required.
Weekdays, weekends and holidays; all shifts, with some shifts offering bonus pay.
Compensation & BenefitsStarting pay range is $9.30 - $13.00 per hour plus $9 - $11 per hour in tips. Eligible benefits may include accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine, and 401k; seasonal/temporary roles may not be eligible for benefits. Compensation is based on job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
