Job Details- Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D) / Maternity Nurse (Night Shift)
- Location: Cleveland, OH 44195 (Cleveland healthcare, Lake Erie area)
- Unit: Special Delivery (Labor & Delivery)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (91 days)
- Start Date: March 30, 2026
- End Date: June 29, 2026
- Shift: Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Orientation: 16 hours
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680 – $1,770
- Employment Type: Travel, On-site (Travel RN jobs, Ohio travel nurse)
- Experience: Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) Labor & Delivery experience prior to travel assignments
- Recent Experience: At least 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience in a Level III or IV setting, including both scrub and circulating duties (travel experience accepted)
- Licensure: Active permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Certifications (AHA): BLS, ACLS, and NRP (all active, nothing pending)
- Reference: One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the specialty required
- Assessments: ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate testing required during orientation (acceptable score required)
- Vaccinations: COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Preferred: Prior travel RN assignments in L&D, experience with high-acuity obstetrics, familiarity with electronic medical records used in Ohio hospitals
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients, including maternal/fetal assessments, labor support, and postpartum stabilization
- Provide care for high-acuity obstetric patients in a Level III/IV environment, recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition
- Assist with deliveries and obstetric procedures, performing both scrub and circulating roles as needed
- Administer medications and IV therapies safely and accurately following facility protocols
- Collaborate with OB providers, anesthesia, NICU, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal maternal and neonatal outcomes
- Document patient care clearly and promptly in the medical record according to facility policies
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the birth experience (maternity nurse, obstetric nurse duties)
- Work at least every other holiday as required by the unit
