Overview
You know how to clear the way, attend to complex situations, and serve as a trusted liaison.
In this role, you will be dedicated to initiatives that address the opioid crisis in a productive and positive way. You will be tasked with contracting & securing formulary additions, partnering with and delivering educational in-services, aiding purchasing/stocking, and building awareness for our customer's product.
Responsibilities- From a listed universe of unique hospitals, and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) within a defined geography, strategically engage willing partners to advance the adoption of our client s product.
- Ensure availability to access and use of the product in the hospital setting (emergency department).
- Secure appropriate placement on formularies, pathways and protocols via Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committees using approved materials.
- Understand the customer s approach to the patient journey in their specific institutions by engaging a wide breadth of stakeholders.
- Maintain sharable Account Plans for each institution, record call history and continually expand network of key individuals within assigned institutions with full contact information and role descriptions.
- Act as a direct feedback loop to relevant headquarters stakeholders regarding marketplace dynamics and learnings.
- Bachelor s degree
- 8+ years commercial biotech / pharmaceutical industry experience
- 3+ years successful institutional / hospital experience calling on hospital and IDN networks
- Existing deep understanding of IDN Network in assigned geography
- Must live within territory or within territory boundaries.
- Product launch experience with a proven track record of success
- Ability to travel 70% of the time
