Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Surgical Scrub – Ohio

Schedule:

13-week assignment; 1-2 weekday call shifts and 1 full weekend (Saturday and Sunday, 24 hours each) per 6-week period; every other holiday required
Highlights:
Dedicated cardiovascular operating room with open heart surgical cases
Scrub role with emphasis on complex cardiac procedures
Call coverage includes weekday and weekend rotation
Comprehensive orientation with ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments
Extension opportunities available for up to 18 months
Supportive interdisciplinary team environment
Requirements:
Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent CVOR surgical scrub experience required
Open heart scrub experience is mandatory
Active Ohio RN license (Compact accepted) in hand at time of submission
One recent supervisory reference (manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director) from CVOR specialty
BLS and other specialty certifications must be active and current
COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)
Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments during orientation
Negative drug screen required within 12 months of start date
