Job Summary:

To lead a high-performing pharmacy service that improves medication access, safety, adherence, and clinical outcomes while supporting the organizations financial sustainability and 340B program integrity.

Position Summary:

The Director of Pharmacy provides strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for all pharmacy services, including dispensing, clinical pharmacy programs, and 340B oversight. This role ensures safe, compliant, and patient-centered pharmacy operations while expanding pharmacist-led clinical services aligned with organizational quality goals and population health priorities.

Requirements: Key Responsibilities:

· Provide overall leadership and management of pharmacy operations, including staffing, workflows, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and direct dispensing responsibilities as a licensed pharmacist when coverage or operational needs require.

· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation requirements, including Board of Pharmacy regulations and 340B program standards.

· Oversee the 340B program, including audit readiness, policy development, and collaboration with internal and external partners.

· Lead and expand pharmacist-led clinical services (e.g., diabetes management, hypertension, smoking cessation, vaccinations) in collaboration with medical and behavioral health teams.

· Supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, technicians, and clinical pharmacists, support recruitment, onboarding, and performance feedback.

· Partner with Quality and Data teams to monitor pharmacy metrics, including utilization, adherence, safety events, and clinical outcomes.

· Collaborate with executive and clinical leadership to improve medication access, reduce leakage, and enhance patient experience.

· Ensure medication safety practices, inventory control, and continuous quality improvement.

· Participate in organizational committees related to quality, safety, and clinical integration.

Required Qualifications:

· Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm

D) from an accredited institution.

· Active pharmacist license in the state of practice, in good standing.

· Minimum of 5 years of pharmacy experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience in an FQHC or safety-net healthcare setting.

· Residency training or equivalent experience in ambulatory care or health-system pharmacy.

· Prior leadership or management experience preferred but not required.
