Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) at Attain Behavioral Health provides direct care and support to clients in clinical and community settings, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment during treatment and sober living at Renewed Recovery housing.
Pay$35,797 – $43,680 per year (based on skills and experience).
Responsibilities- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Implement and monitor individualized treatment plans developed by the clinical team.
- Conduct therapeutic activities and facilitate group sessions as directed.
- Monitor and document clients' progress, behavior, and overall well‑being.
- Safely transport clients to and from the facility, medical appointments, and community activities; maintain accurate transportation logs and keep vehicle clean and maintained.
- Respond to crises and emergencies, de‑escalate situations, and report incidents to the clinical supervisor.
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records, incident reports, and treatment progress notes.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards; participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
- High school diploma or GED required; CDCA licensure preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- One year of experience in a behavioral health setting or related field.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting and assisting clients.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Time‑management and prioritization abilities.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to helping clients achieve goals.
- Calm and effective under stressful situations.
- Clinical and community settings, exposure to challenging client behaviors.
- Flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Full‑time;
Cleveland, OH; in‑person. - Entry level; requires relocation before starting work.
