Position: Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)

Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) at Attain Behavioral Health provides direct care and support to clients in clinical and community settings, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment during treatment and sober living at Renewed Recovery housing.

Pay

$35,797 – $43,680 per year (based on skills and experience).

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Implement and monitor individualized treatment plans developed by the clinical team.
  • Conduct therapeutic activities and facilitate group sessions as directed.
  • Monitor and document clients' progress, behavior, and overall well‑being.
  • Safely transport clients to and from the facility, medical appointments, and community activities; maintain accurate transportation logs and keep vehicle clean and maintained.
  • Respond to crises and emergencies, de‑escalate situations, and report incidents to the clinical supervisor.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate client records, incident reports, and treatment progress notes.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards; participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; CDCA licensure preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • One year of experience in a behavioral health setting or related field.
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid.
  • Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting and assisting clients.
