You’ll deliver person‑centred services across disability settings. You’ll empower individuals to live more independently, safely, and meaningfully by:
- Performing personal care, domestic duties, assistance with meals and medication.
- Providing in‑home, centre‑based and overnight respite.
- Enabling social and community participation.
- Assisting in implementing client‑specific programs to encourage independence whenever possible.
- Promoting individuals physical, intellectual, emotional, social, cultural, and spiritual well‑being.
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent/relevant.
- Proven ability to work in a team environment to build collaborative relationships with individuals who have a disability and their families.
- Demonstrated compassion and respect for individuals with a disability, colleagues, and visitors.
- Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy).
- Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.
- Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel for work.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Card.
- Current first Aid Certificate.
