Summary
Performs various hospital food services duties, such as assembling, delivering, and retrieving patient trays, washing dishes, pots, carts, and service‑ware support, and setting up and serving customers in the cafeteria. Provides the highest quality of service and respect to others at all times.
Minimum Qualifications
- Formal Education Required (exact requirements)
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
- Must possess knowledge of and be in compliance with local, state, and federal food handling regulations (i.e., HACCP).
- Ability to assemble and pass trays.
- Demonstrates helpful and pleasant behavior when communicating with visitors, hospital personnel, physicians, and co‑workers.

Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self‑respect and dignity. - Level of Physical Demands:
Medium – Exerts 20‑50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10‑25 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount continuously to move objects. - Ability to be active and on feet most of the day, lift, push, and pull light to medium weight objects; occasionally push and pull heavy weight objects.

Compensation
$15.96/hr – $19.16/hr
The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographic location, are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members when determining offers. Please keep in mind that the range listed is the full base salary range;
hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical.
