Summary

Performs various hospital food services duties, such as assembling, delivering, and retrieving patient trays, washing dishes, pots, carts, and service‑ware support, and setting up and serving customers in the cafeteria. Provides the highest quality of service and respect to others at all times.

Minimum Qualifications

• Formal Education Required (exact requirements)
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Must possess knowledge of and be in compliance with local, state, and federal food handling regulations (i.e., HACCP).
• Ability to assemble and pass trays.
• Demonstrates helpful and pleasant behavior when communicating with visitors, hospital personnel, physicians, and co‑workers.

• Ability to be active and on feet most of the day, lift, push, and pull light to medium weight objects; occasionally push and pull heavy weight objects.

Compensation

$15.96/hr – $19.16/hr

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographic location, are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
