Title: Respiratory Therapist / Neuro Diagnostics (CRT or RRT)
Location: Cleveland, OH
Duration: 12 weeks
Shift: Night – 3x12-Hour (18:30 – 07:00)
Provide comprehensive respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients across inpatient units
Perform respiratory assessments, treatments, and monitoring in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols
Manage and monitor mechanical ventilation, non-invasive ventilation, oxygen delivery systems, and airway clearance therapies
Respond to respiratory emergencies, rapid responses, and code situations during night shifts
Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and interpret results as appropriate
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient respiratory outcomes
Document all patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
Support neuro-diagnostic and respiratory-related procedures as assigned
Float to other hospital units or affiliated facilities as needed based on staffing requirements
Provide patient and family education related to respiratory care when appropriate
Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards
Participate in orientation, competency validation, and required training modules
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care hospital setting
Demonstrated experience managing ventilated and high-acuity patients
Ability to work independently on night shifts with minimal supervision
Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and float assignments as needed
Prior travel experience preferred but not required
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) – Active and in hand
NBRC Certification – Required
BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required and active
Active Ohio Respiratory Care License – Required and must be in hand at time of submission
