SCHEDULE: SUN/MON/TUES & EVERY OTHER WED 8am-8pm

Direct Support Professionals are responsible for providing and maintaining a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment which fosters individual development, choices, and growth. Services are designed to assist the individual in acquiring, retaining, and improving self-help, socialization and adaptive skills necessary to reside successfully in-home settings. These services are provided in the person’s home and in the community.

• Provide emotional, medical, physical, vocational, social, and educational support designed to meet the individual’s IP/ISP.
• Support the individual in developing everyday life skills and independence.
• Assist with self-help, socialization and adaptive skills in home and community settings.

• Teach everyday life skills such as cooking, cleaning, and self-care
• Go on community outings, shopping trips, dining, and may include transporting/attending doctor visits
• Understand and utilize individualized plans
• Provide personal care
• Complete all documentation in a professional, accurate and timely manner

• 18 years or older
• Valid Ohio drivers license (four points or less)
• Car insurance and reliable transportation
• Must pass criminal background checks
