Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:30)

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care services to patients in an acute care hospital setting.

• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and respiratory treatments.

• Monitor, manage, and troubleshoot mechanical ventilation and airway support.

• Perform patient assessments and evaluate response to respiratory therapies.

• Respond to emergency situations, including rapid response and code events.

• Document patient care and treatments accurately in the electronic medical record.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams.

• Float to comparable respiratory care units within the system as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• CRT or RRT credential accepted.

• Minimum of 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience.

• Active NBRC certification (must be in hand at submission).

• Current AHA BLS certification.

• Active Ohio respiratory therapy license (must be in hand at submission).

• Ability to work night shifts, weekends as needed, and float between facilities.

• Complete work history, including prior roles within the same health system, required.

• Copies of all required certifications must be included at time of submission.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in pulmonary or respiratory units within an acute care hospital.

• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.

• Flexibility in scheduling and unit assignments.
