Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:30 – 07:00)
Job Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive respiratory care to adult patients in an acute care hospital setting.
Administer respiratory therapies, oxygen delivery, and aerosolized medications.
Manage and monitor mechanical ventilation and airway support.
Perform patient assessments, monitor response to treatments, and document care accurately.
Respond to emergencies, including code situations, as part of the rapid response team.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Float to comparable respiratory units within the health system as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
CRT or RRT certification accepted.
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
Active NBRC credential.
Current BLS certification.
Active Ohio respiratory therapy license (must be in hand at submission).
Ability to work night shifts, weekends as needed, and float between facilities.
All required certifications and complete work history must be provided at time of submission.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in acute care hospital respiratory departments.
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Flexibility with scheduling and unit assignments.
