Bilingual (Spanish) Neuropsychologist/Clinical Child Psychologist for Autism Program
Metro Health Medical Center/Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) School of Medicine is seeking a full‑time neuropsychologist or clinical child psychologist to join our interdisciplinary autism assessment clinic. The selected candidate will serve as the clinical lead for our Spanish‑speaking Autism Assessment team and will provide assessment, diagnosis, and brief intervention services for individuals ages 3 to 18 who are primarily on Medicaid.
Responsibilities- Assess, diagnose, and monitor Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) in Spanish‑speaking patients.
- Lead the interdisciplinary Spanish‑speaking Autism Assessment team.
- Conduct bilingual behavioral interventions (e.g., cognitive‑behavioral therapy, group social‑skills training, parent‑child interaction treatments).
- Perform neuropsychological evaluations for Spanish‑speaking individuals.
- Participate in clinical supervision of internships, fellows, and graduate trainees.
- Provide didactic presentations and faculty teaching as required by the academic medical center.
- Engage in research related to ASD assessment, diagnosis, or intervention.
- Fluent Spanish and English verbal communication skills.
- Ph.D. or Psy.
D. from an APA‑accredited clinical psychology graduate program with a primary focus on pediatric/child clinical psychology. - Completed child/pediatric internship in an APA‑accredited program.
- Completion of a neuropsychological or child clinical post‑doctoral fellowship.
- Eligibility for Ohio licensing by the start date of employment.
- Formal training or willingness to achieve reliability on all ADOS Modules in both English and Spanish.
- Experience in the assessment and diagnosis of ASDs preferred; written Spanish proficiency is not required.
- Ability to conduct brief bilingual behavioral interventions and neuropsychological evaluations.
