Travel RN - Cardiovascular ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position requiring 18 months of recent CVICU experience and a current OH or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Work in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) of a hospital,

• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am,

• Patient population includes cardiovascular and critical care cases,

• Required to work at least every other holiday,

• Uses ECG rhythm monitoring equipment,

Job Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand,

• AHA or American Red Cross certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required,

• Minimum 18 months permanent experience in CVICU prior to travel assignments,

• Must achieve acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments during orientation,

Additional Information

• Assignments at any Cleveland Clinic location may not exceed 18 consecutive months,

• A 6 month break is required before returning for another assignment at these locations,

• Orientation includes assessments to ensure competency in rhythm recognition and medication safety,

• Travelers use Qualivis - Lotus for submitting hours worked,
