• Rotation Note: Shifts may be variable if needed to meet hospital operational needs. Preferred shifts will be considered when possible; however, rotation may be required.

• Experience:
  • Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in the specialty applying for prior to travel
  • Minimum 18 months of recent Stepdown experience (travel experience accepted)
  • PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred, but not required
• Licensure:
  • Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license (must be in hand at submission)
• Certifications (Required):
  • BLS – AHA or American Red Cross
  • ACLS – AHA or American Red Cross
  • NIHSS
• Holiday Requirement:
  • Traveler must work at least every other holiday

• ECG rhythm recognition test required during orientation
• Safe Medicate assessment required during orientation
• Acceptable scores on both assessments are required

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Stepdown/PCU patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies and standards
