Summary: Performs technical processing procedures and associated quality functions related to autologous and allogeneic hematopoietic progenitor cells (HPC) and therapeutic cellular therapy products within the designated service area. Identifies and recommends improvements to standard operating procedures. Ensures all testing and processing performed adheres to departmental guidelines, safety/regulatory requirements, and quality control standards

Qualifications- Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Science, Medical Technology, or another related field.
- 2 years of experience working in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Familiarity with basic laboratory equipment and experience in aseptic technique, including cell culture.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and overall time management skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Capable of working in a fast‑paced and rapidly changing environment or technology.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Medical Lab Technician (MLT) certification with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP).
- Experience with processing autologous and allogeneic products.
- Experience working in a regulatory environment and knowledge of FDA, cGMP, cGTP.
- Knowledge of Stem Cell/CAR T Cell protocols.
- May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.
- May need to sit or stand for extended periods.
- See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
- Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
- May need to lift to twenty‑five (25) pounds on occasion.
- Ability to communicate in face‑to‑face, phone, email, and other communications.
- Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents.
- Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids.
