Travel Respiratory Therapist

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with Ohio licensure and RRT credentials for a day shift hospital assignment.

Job Details

• Work in a hospital setting providing cardiopulmonary and respiratory therapy services,

• Day shift position, 36 hours per week, 7:00am to 7:30pm,

• Every other weekend and holiday required,

• Uses Epic EMR and Pyxis systems,

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required; CRT not accepted,

• Current Ohio RCP license required,

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required,

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist,

• Experience with Epic EMR preferred,

• License required if applicable,

Additional Information

• Deliver respiratory therapy services as ordered by providers,

• Job involves sitting, standing, stooping, and lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally,

• Exposure to communicable diseases and chemicals may occur during the course of work,

• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members across multiple platforms,

• Holiday coverage is part of the regular schedule,
