- Trauma patients
- Stroke patients

- Supports research initiatives
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Neuro, MSK, abdominothoracic, and cardiac anatomy
- IV starts
- Produce quality MRI images in a variety of settings
- Opportunity to learn advanced MRI imaging techniques such as Cardiac and Breast MRI
- Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatient
- Maintain the integrity of safety measures required within a MRI environment including implant investigation
- Educate patients regarding MRI safety and screening process, procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain basic understanding and comfort
- On the spot critical thinking
- Effective communication skills
- Functions well under stress and with minimal supervision
- Works well both independently and as part of the MRI team
- The MRI staff work closely with Nurses, Physicians, Respiratory Therapists and other care team members throughout the hospital to provide the best care possible for all Metro Health patients.

- All MRI scanners are ACR Accredited
- Performs a variety of technical procedures utilizing MRI scanning equipment for diagnostic imaging of diseases in humans.
- Provides a safe and supportive care environment for patients undergoing MRI procedures, while assisting radiologists and nursing staff.
- Functions in a multi‑purpose role depending on the needs of the patients and the department, in line with Metro Health System approved policies and procedures and applicable ODH regulations.

Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology/MRI program
- ARRT MRI or ARMRIT credential, or obtain within one year of employment. Cross‑training support provided.
- BLS Certification from the AHA or obtain during probationary period.
- Previous MRI experience
- Advanced certification through the ARRT or ARMRIT in MRI
- Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or ARMRIT
- Good background and knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy
- May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.
- May need to lift, pull or push over 50 lbs.
- May need to sit or stand for extended periods.
- See within normal visual range with or without correction.
- Hear within normal audio range with or without correction.
