Pharmacy Technician - Data Support; Hybrid

Pharmacy Technicians in our Patient Care Center of Excellence may hold multiple duties to ensure Exact Care’s patients receive quality care out of their pharmacy services. They will work in a call center environment, spending time speaking with patients, doctors, and facilities on the phone. Responsibilities will vary from fielding inbound phone calls, outbound phone work, and navigating multiple pharmacy software systems.

• Providing an exceptional customer service experience on the phone.
• Answering high volume inbound calls and serving as an Exact Care expert.
• Placing outbound calls to create, maintain or update medication profiles.
• Effectively assist with patient questions over the phone.
• Problem solve patient care issues through current case queues.
• Serve as liaison between clinical pharmacists and other medical professionals.
• Perform claim adjudication and auditing duties such as prior authorizations, billing and eligibility checks.
• Collect patient balances for amounts due.
• Maintain patient records with strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Utilize drug knowledge for prescription authorizations, clarifications, and transfers.
• Accurately retrieve all prescription information and verify through doctor calls.
• Enter high volume data; process prescription info with speed and accuracy.
• Place welcome calls to newly onboarded patients and establish a trusted point of contact.
• Partner with technicians and pharmacists to ensure new patients are successfully onboarded.
• Support the nationwide patient base in a high volume, fast paced environment.
• Other tasks as required.

• Must be 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma / GED.
• Prior experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Certified with Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Health Association (NHA) and maintain a current certificate.
• Maintain a pharmacy technician registration with State Board of Pharmacy.
• Ability to perform in an office based (or remote) setting that requires sitting at a desk 90% of the time.
• Must be able to work in office at Valley View, OH location on specified days.
