The Mobile Phlebotomist will travel throughout Northeast Ohio to perform blood draws, specimen processing, and timely specimen drop-offs. This role requires strong professionalism, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently while representing the MMLS standard of care.
Responsibilities- Travel to patient homes, assisted living centers, and partner facilities for scheduled mobile blood draws.
- Perform venipuncture safely, efficiently, and confidently.
- Label, process, and prepare specimens for transport according to lab requirements.
- Utilize company scheduling and documentation tools (training provided).
- Maintain professional communication with patients, partners, and leadership.
- Protect patient confidentiality and follow all HIPAA guidelines.
- Demonstrate punctuality—
on-time clock-in qualifies for a $25 daily gas stipend (post-tax).
- 1-year minimum phlebotomy experience (mobile experience preferred).
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and active auto insurance.
- Comfortable with long-distance driving across Northeast Ohio.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work early mornings, independently, and in various home-care environments.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and adaptable in a fast-growing mobile lab setting.
- $22/hr starting pay
- $25 daily gas stipend (post-tax) for on-time clock-in
