Job TitleBiorepository Site Manager
How You’ll Add ValueThe Biorepository Site Manager is responsible for ensuring that all functions related to processing samples are completed accurately and according to SOPs. The incumbent is responsible for helping others and ensuring that customer interests are considered.
What You’ll Do- Manage day‑to‑day operations over the site, including lab operations, facilities, people management, and vendor management.
- Communicate with key stakeholders across the organization to leverage functional expertise.
- Serve as the primary contact for key site customers and act as technical lead.
- Provide sample management subject‑matter expertise to current and potential clients.
- Ensure customer expectations are met and site activities are in compliance with the quality management system.
- Manage all aspects of the site—including personnel, productivity, inventory, departmental metrics, and resources.
- Enforce policies and procedures with attention to quality compliance.
- Effectively communicate all departmental affairs and provide data, reports, and documentation as requested.
- Communicate regularly with sales account managers and develop relationships with targeted clients.
- Oversee receipt of packages, sample data entry, accessioning of samples, labeling, and assigning storage locations.
- Respond to after‑hours emergencies to maintain integrity of facility and products.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve service/process failures appropriately.
- Proactively manage and drive resolution of client issues.
- Recognize, escalate, and ensure resolution of operational, quality, or financial concerns.
- Initiate and revise documentation according to SOPs.
- Ensure all weekly, monthly, and daily maintenance is completed per SOPs.
- Promote a culture of continuous process improvement by leading, participating, and implementing improvements.

- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of people leadership or 2+ years’ experience in sample management or related activity.
- 2+ years of experience in a regulated life‑science industry (CLIA, CAP, GMP, GTP, GLP, BoP).
- Previous biobank experience preferred.
- High initiative, ability to work independently while staying connected.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven customer service skills.
- Drive change, influence team and/or coordination.
- Ability to multi‑task and deliver on multiple priorities.
- Reaching, lifting, bending; lift up to 50 lbs.; extended standing or sitting; hand dexterity; color discernment or use of color correction glasses; work with refrigerants (dry ice, LN2) using proper PPE.
The employee will work in an area with potentially infectious materials and maintain a clean environment while enforcing universal precautions for blood borne pathogens.

CompensationBase Compensation: $65,000.00 - $88,000.00. The posted pay range is an estimate based on current market data and internal pay structure. Final compensation may vary above or below this range.
