CT Technologist / PRN / $2,500 Sign‑On BonusFull‑Time, Benefit Eligible
Schedule: First Shift, 4 × 10‑hr shifts 8 a‑6:30 p, weekend and holiday rotation (every 3rd weekend and every other holiday)
Location: Summa Health – Akron City Hospital, Level 1 Trauma/Stroke Hospital
Hire‑On Incentive: Up to $10,000
SummaryOperates Computerized Tomography and Radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic C.T. scans and diagnostic radiographs, under indirect supervision. Ensures all aspects of patients’ records are processed properly to initiate procedure results in a timely manner. Evaluates images with the radiologist, takes additional images as needed or requested, assists with procedures of an invasive nature, and performs other assigned duties as training and skills allow.
Minimum Qualifications- Formal
Education Required:
Graduate of an A.M.A. approved school of Radiologic Technology and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. - Must be licensed as a Radiographer by the State of Ohio.
- Experience & Training
Required:
One (1) year Radiology Technology experience preferred. - CT Registry preferred.
- Other Skills, Competencies and
Qualifications:- Manual dexterity sufficient to calibrate and operate equipment, properly position patients, apply and adjust restraining devices, and administer intravenous injections of contrast.
- Ability to communicate verbally with patients, physicians and other hospital employees.
- Ability to lift and position patients.
- Successful completion of training to perform other radiology procedures.
- Ability to utilize computer system and file system to facilitate patient records.
- Ability to initiate CPR and CPR Certification.

Salary: $35.09/hr – $42.11/hr (base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials). Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location, are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. We believe in pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members when determining offers. The range listed is the full base salary range. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical.
