The Accounting Manager will serve as a key member of the Finance team, assisting the Chief Financial Officer in ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and integrity of financial data.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Finance- Responsible for month‑end close, including reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy of the general ledger
- Completes customer invoicing
- In charge of over‑time monthly revenue recognition accounting
- Enforces compliance with state and federal grants
- Ensures adherence to internal controls and accounting policies.
- Assists with preparing documentation for audits, tax filings, and grant reporting
- Supports the CFO in performing period‑end reviews for Management and Board reporting
- Helps to manage HR needs for the company including job postings, onboarding, benefit administration, 401k, terminations and related accounting
- Supports 3rd party vendor in executing payroll on semi‑monthly basis
- Assists the Senior Accountant in managing grant billing and reporting
- Aids the Senior Accountant in the processing of accounts payables, ensuring expenditures comply with grant spending regulations and are coded to ensure accuracy and integrity of data
Performs other related duties as assigned

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required
- Three to six years of experience working in accounting is required
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) or similar is preferred
- Experience with Net Suite or similar ERP system is preferred
- $70,000-$90,000 a year
