Tax Partner

Cleveland-based firm seeking a Tax Partner to join as an integral part of the firm's tax services, providing an early chance to demonstrate both organizational savvy and tax knowledge leadership – the new Tax Partner will work closely with the Managing Partner to move forward the tax services, particularly within the northeast Ohio business community. A big feature of the role, maintaining a sizeable tax practice and bringing the capacity to build a tax-focused practice.

• Utilizing knowledge of northeast Ohio manufacturing market
• Utilizes tax expertise with an MDO practice to both local and regional clients
• Join the firm as an equity partner or rapid ascension to partner-level status
• Earns a very competitive compensation and benefits package with significant signing bonus

• Run a portion of the firm's tax practice with a focus on manufacturing clients
• Review complex tax returns, including corporate, partnership, trust, non-profit, and individuals
• Provide tax research and guidance on complex issues
• Lead and guide multi-disciplinary tax staff
• Service clients in a variety of northeast-Ohio-based industries
• Develop and maintain new client relationships
• Experienced public accounting CPA with an interest in an equity partnership-level opportunity
• Expertise with private companies, S-corps, pass-throughs, and high-net-worth individuals
• Strong commitment to building current and new client relationships
• Collaborative leader who builds technical and communication skills of staff
• 7-12 years of experience in a regional or Big Four CPA-firm
