Tax Manager

Tax Manager sought with a flexible, professional, and growing regional CPA firm, seeking an experienced tax advisor/consultant from a public accounting firm, to assume a substantial book of clients with offices on the west side and the east side of Cleveland. A successful candidate will offer knowledge and experience with Ohio companies in a variety of industries. Seeking a CPA who would like to achieve partner status, and who could work closely with the exiting shareholder while helping to manage the team and the client relationships in this office.

Ideally, a person involved with and committed to the northern Ohio business community.

• Takes ownership of client relationships
• Assumes a client book of business over time
• Leads others within the office tax team
• Supports and refers to others within the firm's tax services network
• Tax services provider to private companies, S-Corps, pass-throughs, and high-net-worth individuals
• 5+ years' experience in public accounting tax services
• Develops and maintains client relationships
• Organizational savvy, can lead a team
• Understands the importance of face-to-face conversation
• Familiarity with a variety of industries in Ohio markets
• Solid written and oral communication skills
• Excellent personnel development and delegation skills
