This is a full‑time hybrid role located in Greater Cleveland, allowing flexibility for partial work‑from‑home arrangements. The Trust and Estate Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing and reviewing trust and estate tax returns, conducting tax planning, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The role involves collaborating with team members, maintaining strong client relationships, providing strategic tax advice, and consulting on estate and gift tax issues.
Qualifications- Strong technical skills in preparing and reviewing trust and estate tax returns
- Experience in tax planning, estate and gift tax advisement, and compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software and attention to detail in financial analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work both independently and within a team
- CPA designation or progress toward certification is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Relevant experience in trust and estate accounting or public accounting is a plus
