Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as dedicated Turbo Tax Live Seasonal Local Service Associates in new Turbo Tax locations across the United States on a seasonal basis. This unique opportunity combines tax expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs. As a Turbo Tax Live - Seasonal Local Service Associate, you will serve as a trusted advisor, empowering customers to achieve positive financial outcomes while supporting Intuit’s mission of “Powering Prosperity Around the World.”
Aboutthe Role
You will work on‑site from a Turbo Tax location, serving customers both in‑person and virtually using Intuit Turbo Tax products. You will leverage your tax expertise to provide full service tax return preparation, tax advice, calculations, and software/product support. Your ability to demonstrate understanding of each customer’s unique situation and connect with them on a personal level is critical to alleviating the stress some may feel when tackling their taxes.
Whether assisting with simple W2 filings, navigating life events (marriage, children, elder care), or handling more complex tax scenarios like business income, amendments, or investments, you will serve as the go‑to expert for your clients. Additionally, you will play a key role in growing Turbo Tax’s client base within the local community, establishing long‑term relationships, and driving customer loyalty. This role is non‑exempt and requires onsite presence on a seasonal basis.
You’ll Do
- Provide Tax Expertise:
Give hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for Turbo Tax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations. Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice. - Be a Proactive Community Ambassador:
Cultivate a robust customer base, nurture leads, convert prospects into long‑term clients, and organize local events to engage the community. - Educate and Communicate Confidently:
Represent Turbo Tax in the local community, host learning events, participate in marketing efforts, and demystify taxes. - Build Relationships:
Connect with people, demonstrate empathy, and build long‑term trust that converts one‑time transactions into multi‑year relationships. - Deliver a Best‑in‑Class Customer
Experience:
Create an exceptional experience, interact both in‑person and via video communication tools, and help customers overcome tax‑related challenges.

- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law.
- Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season using professional prep software.
- Familiarity with Circular 230.
- Willing & available to work a static weekly schedule of at least 24 hours per week at a Turbo Tax location.
- Interest in building a local and online social presence to create accessible tax‑related content in accordance with Intuit’s policies.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
- Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond filing.

- Must possess or be able to obtain any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
- Base Pay: $23.70 – $28.00 (varies by region)
- Eligible for cash bonus, equity rewards, and other benefits per Intuit plans.
