Voice Network Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Voice and UC Engineer. This role is pivotal in providing technical expertise and support to ensure seamless communication solutions within our client's organization. You will collaborate with various IT teams and managers, focusing on maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing our voice and unified communications infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• :
  
  Administer and troubleshoot existing Cisco voice systems, including voicemail and electronic fax solutions
• .Support the transition and deployment of Unified Communications platforms globally, ensuring robust design, testing, and configuration
• .Monitor and maintain the health of voice and UC infrastructure using advanced network monitoring tools
• .Work with external vendors to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly
• .Conduct security assessments and manage the remediation of vulnerabilities, implementing major upgrades when necessary
• .Plan for capacity and ensure contingency and recovery plans are regularly updated and maintained
• .Document technical platforms and assist in the design and implementation of new UC systems
• .Perform onsite and remote preventative maintenance, including firmware upgrades and system backups
• .Configure and optimize Cisco platforms, ensuring efficient routing and security measures against unauthorized access
