Position SummaryWe’re seeking a Process Engineer to develop, improve, and support production processes throughout the launch, manufacture, and testing of precision‑engineered products.
This role is ideal for an engineer with strong hands‑on problem‑solving ability, a background in machining, and a passion for continuous improvement.
You’ll act as a primary liaison between engineering, operations, and program management - helping ensure process reliability, efficiency, and scalability. You may also provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within your value stream.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, evaluate, and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost‑effectiveness.
- Program CNC machines, create tool paths, and simulate machining operations.
- Collaborate with design engineering and program management to ensure manufacturability and process alignment.
- Create and maintain manufacturing methods, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and labor standards in the ERP system.
- Design, build, and validate tooling, fixtures, gages, and custom equipment.
- Analyze manufacturing variances and implement corrective actions.
- Lead workflow and cell design initiatives focused on lean manufacturing and waste reduction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred (or equivalent technical experience).
- 5–10 years of manufacturing or process engineering experience.
- 5+ years of CAD and CAM software experience (Mastercam preferred).
- 3D modeling experience using AutoCAD Inventor or similar required.
