As a Senior Bridge Engineer, you will predominantly be involved with bridge or civil structure projects, but will also have exposure to different structural projects. You’ll work across projects for railways, highways, related transportation projects and, of course, bridges.

• Bridge design and plan development
• Field investigations, inspections, and repair recommendations
• Type studies, structural designs, preliminary through detailed, including quantity calculation and construction cost estimating, load rating, construction monitoring, expert opinions related to bridges, civil structures and other structures
• Responsible for project management, managing your own transportation and infrastructure projects, and taking a forward-facing role with the client

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or equivalent; a master’s in structural engineering preferred
• Certification as a registered professional engineer (PE) in Ohio is required
• At least 9+ years of professional experience in bridge design or structural design in transportation or highways projects
• Experience working on structural bridge design projects in Ohio
• Exposure to other structural projects is a plus
• Familiarity with Auto Desk and Bentley products, and bridge design software such as LARSA, SAP 2000, STAAD Pro, Open Bridge, Csi Bridge, MIDAS, AASHTOWARE Bridge Rating, and MDX

Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, and unique skills.

The expected salary for this position is $108,000-$132,000.

Hybrid approach centers on an in‑office culture; most of your time is spent collaborating face‑to‑face with a minimum of three days per week in the office.
