Plant Engineering Manager – Coit (Cleveland, OH)
Arclin USA is looking for a Plant Engineering Manager to oversee maintenance of all plant assets, design of plant facilities, controls and equipment for our Coit location. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role will ensure efficient, safe, high‑quality operations while enhancing profitability.
Job Responsibilities- Own and manage all plant assets; control, track, and report spending of the capital budget and maintenance.
- Analyze and plan maintenance workforce utilization, predictive/preventative maintenance, space requirements, workflow, and design layout for maximum efficiency.
- Act as project manager for capital projects.
- Communicate with internal and external customers to ensure project plans and work in progress meet outcomes.
- Engage vendors to determine product specifications, arrange purchases, and evaluate products against specifications and quality standards.
- Supervise all resources in the maintenance department.
- Provide technical advice on plant operations and improvements; prepare engineering analysis of projects including preliminary design, detailed design, cost analysis, life‑cycle cost, and equipment selection.
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing controls and automation, leveraging instrumentation, controls, and product design to enhance production.
- Leverage automation to reduce ergonomic risks and institutionalize consistency.
- B.S. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- 10+ years of plant maintenance/engineering/project engineering experience in chemical or rubber manufacturing or related industries.
- Experience with Rockwell PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs.
- Experience with batch process and process historians.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a record of leadership, teamwork, adaptability, innovation, and initiative.
- Ability to work well with all levels of personnel.
- Experience in TPM, 6 Sigma, Lean, 5S.
- Registered Professional Engineer.
- Experience in PSM program implementation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of Distributive Process Controls Systems.

Salary range: $155,000 – $165,000 (annual).
