The Project Engineer will be responsible for the design, coordination, and technical execution of aviation and airfield infrastructure projects. The position involves leading the preparation of construction documents, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring project compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of airfield design, FAA guidelines, and civil engineering principles. The position may be based out of any of our Ohio offices:
Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, or Dayton. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position; applicants must already possess work authorization in the country where the job is located.

• Perform engineering computations, conduct evaluations, design analyses, and design development.
• Prepare reports, recommendations, and opinions for approval by a supervising Professional Engineer.
• Apply standard engineering practices and techniques to adjust and correlate data; recognize and resolve discrepancies in results and follow operations through a series of related steps or processes.
• Work as a member of a project team in the development of data and/or applications.
• Act as a technical advisor to technical staff.
• Use Auto Desk Civil 3D and AutoCAD to develop engineering and design documents.
• Participate in firm‑wide quality initiatives. Potentially serve as a field engineer during the construction of a project. Perform other duties as assigned.
• Assign tasks to and coordinate the work of Engineers I and II, perform moderate design tasks, assist in determining schedule and budget requirements of projects, edit specifications, and prepare final requirements for review and decisions by senior engineers.

• BA/BS in Civil Engineering.
• 8+ years of related experience in airfield design.
• Registered as a Professional Engineer.
• Expertise in Auto Desk Civil 3D and AutoCAD software.
• Familiarity with FAA Design Advisory Circulars and ability to implement them in design.

$87,100 - $130,800 USD.
