Job Summary

The Department of Management in the Monte Ahuja College of Business at Cleveland State University is seeking a 9‑month, non‑tenure‑track Assistant College Lecturer of Health Care Management position beginning August 17, 2026. Duties include teaching 24 credit hours (onsite, off‑site, and online) per academic year at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels and participating in department and college service activities.

The MGT department employs 17 full‑time faculty and offers coursework at the bachelor, master, and doctoral levels. The college employs 75 full‑time faculty members. All programs are AACSB accredited at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Enrollment is approximately 3,000 students, and the degrees offered include DBA, MCIS, MBA, MHRM, MAcc, BSCIS, and BBA.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in a closely related field to Business or Healthcare
  • li>Field experience in Healthcare Management
  • Prior experience teaching higher education courses
Preferred Qualifications
  • Terminal degree in a closely related field to Business, Public Health, or Healthcare
  • Experience with a variety of teaching methods and curricular perspectives
  • Experience teaching Healthcare Management
  • Ability to teach in multiple areas of Management such as Human Resources Management and Organizational Behavior
  • The ability to contribute through teaching and/or service to the academic community
  • Qualified to teach advanced courses
