Kids Thrive provides outpatient treatment programs for children aged 3-12 who are experiencing significant mental health challenges. Through a structured and nurturing environment, children participate in activities that foster growth, learning, and help them develop critical skills for success in school, such as following directions, taking turns, and asking for help. Using the Developmental Repair Model, Kids Thrive focuses on improving children's tolerance for group interaction and shared attention.
Family involvement is a cornerstone of treatment, with therapy and parent coaching sessions designed to equip families with effective techniques to support their children and improve daily life.
This is a full-time on-site role for a School Based Director, located in Northern OH. The School Based Director will oversee and implement programs, focusing on program development, staff training, clinical supervision, and school partnerships. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing and supporting the team, engaging with families and staff to ensure effective program delivery, collaborating with school partners, and contributing to continual improvement of services.
The Director will work closely with children, families, and staff to drive positive outcomes and foster a supportive learning environment.
- Proficiency in Curriculum Development and Education to create and oversee engaging programs
- Strong background in Leadership and the ability to lead effectively within a school-based setting
- Skills in Training and Coaching to develop and support staff and caregivers
- Compassionate and solution-oriented approach to working with children and families
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in school-based settings or mental health programs is preferred
- LISW-S or LPCC-S preferred; LISW, LPCC, LSW, LPC
