Description: Assists departmental staff with vocational assessment, transition planning and work lab activities. Provides tutoring to individual and small groups participating in vocational classes. Coaches students in skill development to prepare for proficiency tests. Responsible for the direct training of students on job duties and requirements.

Job Summary: 7.0 hours/day, 8:00 a.m.

- 3:30 p.m., 5 days/week, 195 days/year

Minimum Qualifications:
2 years of college coursework
OR an Associate's Degree or higher
OR high school diploma with passage of the Para Pro Assessment prior to employment
One year of related successful work experience
Strong interpersonal skills
Experience in operating basic office equipment, such as copiers
Ability to lift equipment, supplies and/or children weighing at least forty (40) pounds
Physical ability to perform all of the essential functions of the job.

Preferred Qualification: Background in industry or career-technical education

Salary: $16.92/Hour (non-degreed); $19.12/Hour (2-year degree); $20.82/Hour (teaching certificate)
