Constellation Schools is seeking a highly qualified Building Substitute Teacher in Cleveland, Ohio. Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans, modifying them during the school year.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of student progress.
• Utilize research‑based best practices in daily planning and instruction.
• Manage student behavior and create a positive classroom environment.
• Apply school‑approved curricula that reflect diverse backgrounds.
• Implement school‑wide culture expectations and norms.
• Communicate with families about academic and social‑emotional growth.
• Incorporate technology skills to support learning.
• Participate in non‑instructional activities as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues.

• Active Ohio teaching license in the appropriate content area.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Comfort working in a growth‑focused coaching environment based on frequent observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information.
• Experience supervising students of various ages in different school settings.
• Pass federal and state criminal background checks.
• Experience working within an urban environment.

• Salary range: $38,500‑$48,000.
