This is an onsite full-time contract position for Elementary and Middle school students in the Cleveland, Ohio area.

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with IEPs and 504 Plans
• Provide specialized instruction and support to help students achieve academic and social goals
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing learning environment
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly

• Proven experience as an Intervention Specialist/Special Education Teacher
• Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and educational methodology
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
• Excellent communication and instructional skills
• Ability to act as mediator between children
• Cool‑tempered, friendly, reliable, and adaptable

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (or related field)
• Valid state (OH) teaching certification/license in Special Education
• Prior experience working with students with special needs is preferred
• Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations
