Lead Teacher at Menlo Park Academy

Recruiting for the Lead Teacher position at Kinder Care Learning Companies. This role supports families and elementary‑aged children during out‑of‑school time on school grounds, helping to bring programs to districts and inspiring learning.

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in the classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement Kinder Care's curriculum to meet the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support the center’s success by collaborating with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals.
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.

• Outstanding customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi‑task.
• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or fulfill NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2‑3 years of early childhood education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet or willingness to obtain state‑specific qualifications for the role.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
  
  Computer proficiency, ability to lift at least 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Ability to make physical and visual contact with children, ensuring safety and engagement.
• Proficient reading, writing, and speaking in English.
