Are you a dedicated and experienced Diagnostic Radiologist looking for a flexible, rewarding opportunity? We are seeking a highly skilled Locum Physician to provide exceptional diagnostic imaging services in Wooster, Ohio. This vital role offers the chance to utilize cutting-edge technology across diverse modalities, ensuring patient care excellence while offering competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

What You’ll Do:

As a Locum Radiologist, you will perform a broad range of diagnostic procedures including X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Fluoroscopy. Your expertise will support emergency, outpatient, and inpatient cases, including subspecialty areas such as neuro, pediatric, breast imaging, and more. You will conduct light Interventional Radiology procedures like biopsies, drainages, lumbar punctures, and joint injections, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

Daily volume expectations are approximately 90-100 cases per 8-hour shift, with visibility into RVU targets for performance measurement.

Required Skills:

Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Radiology

Valid state medical license or eligibility to obtain one in Ohio

Proven experience in diagnostic imaging modalities and procedures

Strong ability to interpret a wide variety of imaging studies

Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor

Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

Skills:

Experience with the latest imaging software and technologies

Prior work in hospital or academic settings

Additional certifications in Nuclear Medicine or Interventional Radiology

Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Preferred

Education and Experience:

Medical degree from an accredited institution

At least 2 years of post-residency radiology practice, preferably in a hospital setting

Prior locum or temporary assignment experience is advantageous

Other Requirements:

Availability to start from February 2, 2026

Ability to handle a variety of complex cases across multiple subspecialties

Must adhere to all licensing, certification, and compliance standards

Willingness to work onsite in Wooster, Ohio, with reliable transportation if travel is necessary

Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
